It originally started with Bath Salts… Our British founder, Lee Williamson, would balance long work days with long soaks in the tub each night. Feeling fresh and invigorated each morning after a good night's sleep and with skin as a soft as a baby, he decided to spread the word of the amazing benefits of bathing in sea salts.Things took off quickly so he recruited his childhood friend Daniel Elmer and in 2002 the San Francisco Bath Salt Company was formed on the principals of quality, value and customer service.
With the growing demand for gourmet salts, it was no surprise a few years later when we expanded with a second production facility dedicated to gourmet chef salts.
